What is my warranty?

Frame: DFI’s Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty applies to the metal frames used in barstools, dining tables and dining chairs. The frames are made from 16 gauge steel and made to last. This warranty is only a limited warranty which DFI provides for repair or replacement.

Fabric: A one (1) year warranty applies to all upholstery fabrics. This Limited Warranty covers seam slippage, fraying, and dye transfers. It does not cover tears, flattening of nap, pilling, fading, or shrinking and is not valid when heavy soiling or abuse is evident.

Cushion: A one (1) year warranty applies to the seat cushion. This warranty applies to a loss of resiliency in the foam. It does not cover foam softening as all cushioning will soften with normal use and will conform to the shape of the user. This should be considered normal wear and not a manufacturing defect.

Workmanship: DFI shall repair or replace damages due to manufacturing error.

How Do I request service?

If the damage to your DFI product is covered under the Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty then follow the following procedures:

Re-read the warranty to make sure that you are aware what is applicable to the warranty and what is not. Some styles & colors cannot be replaced as product is discontinued periodically.

Make a copy of your original Proof of Purchase and either e-mail or mail it to the Customer Service Department. This is mandatory.

State the problem in writing. Describe the damage and, if known, how it occurred. Pictures of the damage would be helpful.

Submit the Proof of Purchase and the written statement to our Customer Service by either e-mailing or sending the information in the mail:

Can I purchase DFI products online?

DFI does not sell products directly to consumers on the internet. However, many retailers sell DFI products on their own websites.

Can I purchase DFI products directly from the factory?

We are sorry to say that it is impossible to purchase DFI products directly from the factory. Our products are available through different retailers in your area. Please contact us and we will notify the retailer nearest you.

I am interested by a DFI product that I have seen on your web site. Where can I see it and try it?

The retailers do not carry all of our products on their floor. Contact us to find a retailer in your area to see if they have a particular product in their showroom.

Can DFI products be used outdoors?

DFI products are designed and made for indoor use only.

Are the DFI products assembled?

Most DFI products require some assembly. Many retailers offer the assembly service when they deliver the products to your home. Please ask your retailer.

Can we have the price of a product?

Only retailers can give you prices for a DFI product. Prices may vary from one retailer to another.
